Here’s a fun way to wear this skirt to a daytime event like a lunch date, or to cocktails after work. I love the unique hue – “Italian Green” – and thought that it would be fun to combine it with a few other colors. I started by pairing it with this multi-color top that picks up that green of the skirt, while adding blue and red to the mix. I like how the top’s billowy chiffon fabric softens the silhouette, but the deep-V in the front and back keep it from looking too “cutesy.”

Those super high (almost 5 inches!) blue pumps with the vibrant red soles pick up the colors in the top and keep the look sexy. For the handbag, I decided to go with this instead of one that would match the shoes, for example. The red color of the bag picks up the soles of the shoes, while the arabesque appliqué and the brushed silver hardware add some texture. A little wardrobe mixology never hurt anybody!
